I created this illustration for a set of assets to be utilized for a yearly survey sent to IBS Community members to share about their experiences living with IBS in America.

The tone of this community is lighthearted and often humorous while also seeking to destigmatize the disease and spread awareness of the pain, discomfort, shame, and embarrassment associated with living with IBS.

For this concept, as the survey was completed digitally by members across the USA, I depicted members of the IBS community sending their speech bubble survey answers as though they are glowing, floating lanterns into the sky.
